      I don't know.  Look back over time.  I see your point, but their point is valid.  Stand back, step down, take some breaths, and remind yourselves that this isn't Iraq and blacks...and whites, for that matter...aren't all enemy combatants and aren't all guilty.  They have been threatening and arresting journalists, harassing and attacking people in their cars and front yards, and gassing people who weren't doing anything wrong.

      Just to be clear, I am one who often sides with police.  But statistics don't lie in that there is little equal equality, and when you see pictures that look like war and videos of men lying on the ground with no one even bothering to check a pulse and police calling people animals and coming on to private property for no good reason to gas people, when kids are hurt, when press is kept in a little area so they can't record anything, and when they are arrested for doing nothing wrong and slammed into glass I would ask if that difference is as big as we would like to think it is.  Speaking of slippery slopes...
