    fell slightly more than the use of force - the difference is people who realize that their complaint won't hold up given the film.  BUT the larger number is due to cops suddenly being forced to interact with the public on film, and not being able to be a jackass.

      Use of force incidents and citizen complaints are not necessarily correlated (evidence would be required to conclude they are) so assuming the correlation as you have is invalid.

      There are many reasons use of force may have dropped. One of them which you have dismissed is that suspects may be less likely to escalate due to the camera. Of course, another may be that police are less likely to escalate due to the camera. Likely it's some of each but that's an assumption we can't use these statistics to help us understand.
