  •  Ugh, sorry, I didn't realize the bit I clipped (5+ / 0-)

didn't include the info for contacting the company for a refund. I have edited it to be more complete:

Consumers do not need to return the product to the store where it was purchased. Instead, consumers are urged to dispose of the recalled product and its container. Please contact the Company at 1-800-937-7008 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST for a replacement or refund, and with general inquiries.
I agree with you that were you to return the product to your local store you should be able to get a refund or exchange.

I don't know if the MaraNatha brand is actually connected to the evangelicals of the same name as I would have the same thought. I'm merely trying to get the info out there as I know a lot of folks here shop at many of the affected grocery stores.

    As to Who are You?
I'm the editor of What's For Dinner? which is one of the longest running group blogs here on dkos. I've been a member since 2006 and also posted lots of diaries focused on food and environmental issues as a regular series called "Tasty Bits". Work intervened and I had to step back from that but it's still one of my big issues. I comment and rec quite frequently.
