I'm at the easternmost end of the "Anglo" San Fernando Valley, and I can see the dividing line between the two Valley districts when I stand in front of my apartment building. The top vote getters in my state assembly (46) and state senate (20) districts are the people I want to win too.

So, yes. Sandra Fluke. I'd sort of like to make sure Matt Dababneh beats Susan Shelley in AD 45, too, since she runs as a Republican, but that seat is probably safe too. I'm in the same situation you're in with my ballot, Susan, and I have contacts in the Clean Money movement as well.

All it takes is security in your own civil rights to make you complacent.

a hot bed of Republican activism and if we volunteer for a candidate, it would probably be down to a choice between one Dem or another.

    •  Closest competitive Dem vs. GOP districts (6+ / 0-)

are AD-44 (Jacqui Irwin, open seat) and CD-26 (Julia Brownley D-Oak Park).

Both races are generally rated Lean Dem, meaning we are slightly favored but at real risk of losing to the GOP.

I am working with Cenk's WolfPac, I was really surprised when we got the Constitutional Convention call through the Stae Legislature based on how my state Rep (Perez) mealy-mouthed all over it.

      But Clean Money isn't enough.

We need to do away with districting and go to proportional representation for state legislatures and the House of Representatives. Under Proportional Representation, every vote counts. No Gerrymandering that rigs districts in favor of one party over another.

We also need a Constitutional Amendment to allow people to use the initiative and referendum to bypass Congress.

And setting 16 year term limits for Federal Judges should shock them into moving to the center.
