    And its only Monday morning.
    Way to go, Dallas PD!
And yes, pls do tell us mere mortals why every puny suburb in Ameerika needs its police outfitted with more kit than your average soldier on patrol in Afghanistan.

National Chair (since 2010) of the National Black Police Association

Just as on odd bit of coincidental trivia, the organizations "started" in St. Louis

In November 1972, the National Black Police Association was chartered as a not-for-profit corporation in the state of Illinois following a historic meeting in St. Louis, Missouri.

    •  Why do you think he's such an idiot? (0+ / 0-)

Because he says one should not use heavy gear when it's not appropriate?

Of is it because he thinks looking like an invading army is not a good thing to do?

I don't know how much difference blue paint makes, but it's got to be better than military colors.  It's even better if you don't have the armored car out.

LG: You know what? You got spunk. MR: Well, Yes... LG: I hate spunk!

    •  Based on my observations of you all, I (0+ / 0-)

wouldn't bet the farm on this guy winning idiot of the week.  Probably good for [dis]honourable mention, though.
