      But they still need to sell hamburgers. And now they need to sell donuts, unless the Canadian people rise up and let them know that they aren't willing to see Tim Hortons sold off piece by piece to make a bunch of rich Americans richer.

        That's the key to this "new" economy that we've been living in for the last 25 years or so. All they need to sell is the illusion of selling hamburgers in order to keep the suckers coming in.

        Burger King hasn't made a profit selling hamburgers since the '80s. What Burger King has done to make profits is to sell its brand to investors and to franchisees to pump up the corporation's bottom line so that the next pump and dump parasites will buy and repeat the process. This is the third time for Burger King.

        This is just one example of an epidemic in American business. An epidemic that nobody will acknowledge, let alone discuss, but one that defines the schism between Main Street and Wall Street.
