Tea Party votes to cut taxes for the 1% cost, and the very real dangers defunding government can have.  When, not if, a pandemic hits the US, the parlous state of our public healthcare system will become not only blistering clear; it will become deadly en masse for exactly the less educated, poorer folks who tend to vote for Republicans.  Ironically, Tea Party Republicans are doing the groundwork to kill off many of their voters.  Unfortunately, many innocents will die also.  (I do not consider those who vote for such stupid policies as Cotton advocates as innocent--ignorant yes, but innocent no.  Their ignorance and hatred of government and minorities and their votes for people who feel the same way they do will ultimately blowback on them.)  Kudos to Pryor for driving home exactly what is at stake.  Now if he would also run ads showing that the claims by Tea Partiers that tax cuts create jobs and pay for themselves are utterly false, voters would be able to really see how damaging Tea Partiers like Cotton are to their real interests.  Just refer to Brownback's nearby KS, for example.  Lots of folks in Arkansas would respond to a stark contrast between Brownback's cuts and their situation if the same policies (which Cotton advocates) were implemented in Arkansas.

The penalty good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men. Plato Love of money is the root of all evil. Jesus Conclusion: If money rules politics, it will be dominated by evil men lining their pockets, not yours.
