    Because there is no class a black person can take in which he or she would be in the majority unless it's at a HBCU.

    And, yes, you are asking for sympathy. Your entire diary is the perspective of a white person who feels disconnected. But the thing is, that is not The White Experience. Plenty of white people don't feel that because, socially, they are good at making friends and finding a community in which to belong. The Black Experience is always about being considered the outsider and a threat by most people, no matter how socially adjusted to society a black person might be.

      if I was bisexual? Notice I never said anything about being straight. I didn't want to open up that can of worms.

        Notice how I didn't either. Because it doesn't matter. Whiteness is still an access badge to the biggest community in this country.
