      If leaking is wrong but confirmation is okay, you can invite a reporter in for a game of 20 questions and direct them to whatever it is you want to leak.  It's the same fucking thing.

      Consider that the journalistic standard (I said the standard, not that all follow it) since Bradlee established it for Watergate is TWO sources.

      And consider that if the pipe under my sink has a leak in one place, and then gets a leak in another place, the second one leaks just as much as the first one -- and makes the problem worse.
