    How often did the Constitution come up during the 2004 presidential debates, or even in the campaign speeches?  I can't remember a single time.

    Think back to your high school civics classmates.  Do you think they paid attention during the three-week segment on the Constitution?  That's the electorate today.  

    Bravo to Armando for bringing this up on the front page.  Per the tagline, Dems ought to be talking more about what government's role in society, what government should and shouldn't be doing.  I doubt that many people make voting decisions with the idea in mind that government is in fact limited, but the more we can educate, the better.  

    Just because we can, that doesn't mean we should.
