  •  Free Will = Free Choice (4.00)

Christ gave us the gift of 'free will' that includes making choices in all areas of our lives , and the consequences of those choices are ours alone with Christ as our only judge.

Taking this hint from the letter writer, I felt something 'click' in my mind. Free Will--as defined in the Christian beliefs, I believe--equals the right to choose one's path, for good or ill. Doesn't that mean that to allow one's God-given free will, one must be allowed more than one path of choice--or many paths--or it's denying that 'God given' right? Coercion is not free will. It's a power play. I don't think God/dess would approve.

Pro-choice--that is, the right for a woman to decide with her God-given free will whether or not to a) get pregnant, b) have a baby, c) have an abortion, or d) have the baby and give him/her up for adoption--is a RELIGIOUS RIGHT (no pun intended) as well as a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT (covered by the 9th Amendment.) It seems funny that they deny a woman's free will in God's name. They must not have been listening in Sunday school.

~Free Will = Pro-Choice. Without choice, there is no free will.~

PS: I am a 50 year old woman. I am childless. I cry for my sisters who have suffered. I seeth at the male-driven power-over schemes these fights hide. Those people want women as slaves again. I ain't buyin' it. I'll fight.

(((HUGS))) To elveta et al in their courageous lives.
