  •  Perhaps better not to bring children (none)
It's really hot, and you're in real danger of being arrested.

They do not respect your losses and bush  does not want anything to get in the way of his not having to think about the rest of the world (not that he thinks that much about it the rest of the time).

Plan to be arrested so that it will not be as much of a surprise/hardship on you and your children.  Which it will be if they are traveling with you (even if not right there with you at the ranch).

    •  It is only his future that is at stake. (none)
Call me irresponsible but I believe in letting my children participate in their lives.

      •  I agree (none)
we must again teach our children to say NO! to power.
      •  Parents protect children from direct harm (none)
And this is not a situtation for children.

Heat, guns, more than likely arrest.  Depending on the crowd, maybe some kind of physical violence.

Not good, and will be used against you if anything happens.  The press will do the "what were they thinking, bringing their child into that kind of situation".

And there will be people who will insist on seeing it as using your children to get media attention.

Not that you would do that, but I've seen it happen before.

If anything bad happens, it will be used to distract from what you are trying to do, move the attention from the WH killing our troops.

        •  Thank for your concern (none)
but we live in Texas and he plays in the heat all the time.

We have protested together a number of times since Bu$hCo took over and there has never been any violence or danger.  It has been a wonderful experience for him.  He even spoke before a small crowd at one demonstration.  There will be other children there.

I am also taking my weenie dog so I guess that's animal cruelity as well as child abuse.
