  •  Europeans are very understanding (none)
I was in England and Ireland about a month ago, just before the bombings. Everyone was friendly. Everyone avoided politics until I said something that showed that I was a progressive, and ashamed of the current regime. At that point, I was welcomed by friends. Your son will have a marvelous time-- I would save the lecturing for safe sex and avoiding bad parts of town after midnight where he could get rolled.
    •  Sounds good (none)
He's going as part of his college's travel abroad program. His school is a North Carolinian one and some of his classmates disagree with his views. He may find more like minded folks among the Europeans!

OT - you ride a bike? We have a Harley.

      •  My son (none)
is going to Germany later this month as part of his  Study Abroad program at college.

My son along with yours will make wonderful ambassadors of what is GOOD about the US.

That and I'm sure he will be enjoying some fine German brew...:)

Which brings me back to Cindy Sheehan and her son Casey along with so many others that will never enjoy those kind of moments on this earth.

I loath GWB will all my soul.

GWB will pry my 20 year old son from my cold dead fingers.
