    THANK YOU You are amazing!

I am a single mother whose income has dwindled away to barely survival during Bu$h's reign.  I drove 3 hours yesterday in a 1994 Acura with 188,000+ miles on it.

I will be going back for the weekends.

Please let me know if there is anyway I can help you get here!

One of the comments from a USA Today reporter when I asked him why the media isn't doing a better job of reporting: "We do and have reported but no body seems to care."

I do have friends in Denton and a friend that just moved this weekend to Austin, also friends in Houston...have no clue how close/far any of them are.

Told Cindy I was going to do my 'Texas' trip in December, at the end of the month and celebrate the New Year there and thought that if Shrub was there, what better place to drink Almond Champagne and celebrate the new year, but by his range...or the park in Crawford!!!

But, I can relate, I have always been self-employed and was doing awesome until 9/11, I took some serious financial hits, filed bankruptcy in 2002 and am still struggling.  I've had great friends/family around me, but you get tired of begging.

Finally in the past month, I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel and I need to grab for it and get pulled back out of the debt thing...I live frugally and go without alot.  This will end by Christmas (thus the planned trip then)...so it's a struggle to want to support Cindy and juggle what I must do here as well.

So if you and I can do it, I would think there are tens of thousands out there that can to!

Figure if I drive out at the end of the month and get one or two riders to split gas, throw coolers in the back of the truck with lots of food/water, well, we'll be good to go!

      Will play it by ear.
