  •  Circulate Maps (4.00)
Someone needs to start circulating the best map and simple, no-coordination-necessary meet-up places. This will rile the security feathers at the ranch to be sure, but it can all happen fast. They can't relocate the ranch. Perhaps the meeting posts should be near but not too near the ranch, should security cordon off several miles. Plan A sites, Plan B sites, Plan C sites would be great. I'm in Houston and don't know enough about the specific area involved. Let's get on it so we can get as many people arrested as possible on Thursday as a show of solidarity.

A grieving mother asking for a few minutes of her dead son's Commander-In-Chief while he's on the longest vacation in history while more boys like her son are getting killed in action -- and SHE'S getting arrested? This is unbelievable.

    Let's go.

Wars of choice are wars of crime.

You should sign up for the texas_kos Yahoo Group if you are not already on there.  Click here, then sign up.  A lot of us in Texas are there and some talk of what to do to help Mrs. Sheehan is taking place there now.
    •  apart from the literal point (none)
of this thread... Maps of the Crawford TX area would make for a nice piece of propaganda.
      a March.

Look, I don't know if you are all moles, but any attempt to organize/promote a mass protest will give the Secret Service the justification they need to move on Cindy Sheehan.

Let Cindy do her thing. If some one wants to quietly drive their out of support, fine. But if you try to make this into an organized protest/rally, you are hurting Cindy's cause.

If a Dem wants to be "good friends" with that hate-mongering liar, Sean Hannity, well, he deserves a primary.

      •  Sort of agree (none)
With the concern about a rally and acts of civil disobedience.  I'd still encourage people to travel Maybe, a silent vigil, very subdued, a show of solidarity, can be more powerful than chants and slogans.  Maybe a few placards, "Mr. President, do the right thing"  or, alternatively, "shame"
      •  I might agree with you in certain... (none)
situations and/or at certain times but not now, not today. Sometimes there comes a time when a last straw breaks a camel's back. If a couple of hundred - of a couple of a hundred thousand - people think that has now happened in this country then don't try and hold them back.
