good article on how the blogs are supporting cindy. they went into how the rightys are saying cindy liked bush when she first met him.
but the reporter that wrote the initial story on cindy said those rethugs are taking it out of context!! good job, daily kos. they are reporting and showing the blog on cnn.
    •  John Conyers (4.00)
Don't get me wrong, I love John Conyers.  He is a man of integrity and gritty courage.  This is not meant as a criticism, just an observation.

If Conyers wants us all to support Cindy, then why has he not gone down there in solidarity with her in person?

Where are all the spineless Democrats?  Why are they not making visits of solidarity with her?  Where are the Hollywood liberals?  Where the HELL is most of the media?  Why is there this near blackout of cable and network coverage?

      Inquiring minds want to know.

      •  Hey.....the 60's are dead. (none)
The best thing Cindy can do is what she is doing.....going it alone.  This is a new day and age and I don't want to see it turned into the Schiavo fiasco..because that honored no one.

God speed Cindy and may the president be SMART enough to offer you a meal and his ear!  That would be the decent thing to do...just don't ask The Dick or it!

      •  And Howard Dean (none)
I think Dean should be there, too. I realize that these guys might have other engagements to tend to. Many representatives like to use this break to visit their home districts.

However, what's wrong with a quick trip to Crawford to bring the protesters some snacks and have a quick chat and handshake session with the protestors? Even if they can't stay the whole time, a one-hour visit would put a bigger spotlight onto this great cause.
