  •  Distinguish betw. troops and civ. leadership (4.00)
The military is needed by our country and trying to shun the ROTC unit (which builds leaders within the ranks of the military) and disband it will not be helpful at all.

Rather, learning to understand and get along with those who sign up and earn their degree, and become officers, and trying to educate them to your framing would be more beneficial.

It might not work to the point where they'll stop supporting the war, or this CINC, but it may go far in giving them pause the next time something like this comes down the pike.

So many potential Kerry votes were lost because of the treatment those vets received during Vietnam and erroneously linked to Kerry.

It's a balance, and whether you like it or not, the country needs it's military. Rather than falling into the '60's blame game, focus on who's really responsible for this:

Commander-in-Chief Bush, Rumsfeld and all, and learn to distinguish your criticism to focus on those civilian leaders rather than "the troops,"
