    I think Russert's public statement is pretty vague.  He denies naming her or talking about her covert status. :

    Russert told Fitzgerald that he did not know Plame's name or that she was a CIA operative and that he did not provide that information to Libby, it said.

    I think the quote is a little vague.  It implies he could have asked Libby if Wilson's wife was CIA.

    Keep an open mind, but don't let your brains fall out.
