  •  what should we do? (none)
go to the White House right now and bang on the door? I'd love to. But you'll (the general you) never get enough Americans up to do it to make a difference. It's not just cause we're fat and lazy, though that's part of it. We're too far apart from each other. There are too damn many of us. And we're all too broke to just pick up and go to Washington. And all too tired from working our asses off for wages that are overtaxed (in comparison to the taxes paid on investment earnings).

What to do? I just went to a vigil for Cindy Sheehan. I go to protests as much as I can. What else?

    •  Well hopefully the Cindy Sheehan protest (none)
will come to something. She seems quite determined. That's more than I can say for the coward Democrats in Washington. When I watch these "Real TV" shows on tv I see Parliaments in Asia where fistfights break out regularly, I wouldn't mind seeing a fistfight in our Congress. I can't imagine these Asian countries being more corrupt than ours. I would have given half my yearly salary to have seen Leahy hall off and punch Cheney when he cursed at him that time. I would like to see more walkouts by the Democrats in Congress, more theatrics to get the public's attention. That's the only way they can get the pornographers that run CNN and the networks to take notice of them. Where is the creativity? It's not enough just to protest.
