My second choice all along has been Edwards.  In fact, if you had asked me late in 2002 who I was supporting, I'd have said I was leaning Edwards.  Then I found Dean.

Since April of 2003, I've led Meetups for Dean, I've canvassed for him, I've stood in front of a GM plant here in Lansing in 14-degree temperatures for him, I've been interviewed (and quoted) numerous times in the media for him, and I've met him and seen him speak in person four times.  I'm a loyal Dean supporter unless and until there's no Dean campaign left to support.

However, I'm slowly trying to acclimate myself to the possibility (I will not say "likelihood" ... yet) of having to find another candidate.  And, the more I see of Kerry, the less I like of him.  Yes, I'll vote for him in November if I have to, but if today's results look like these exit polls, and if Dean can't pull out a few wins and at least stay viable by March 2, well, then, I guess I'd better find some Edwards paraphernalia, 'cause I'll be right there.

Republicans are people who want to shrink government to the point that it can fit in your bedroom.
