  •  Armando, I think you're slowly coming around. (4.00)
It is way past time. These Democrats never seem to learn, damn, they're pathetic.

    My prerspective:
Let us suppose that you were up against Adolph Hitler.
You knew -- not felt, suspected, believed or sensed, but KNEW beyond any shadow of a doubt -- that if he won, he would unleash untold horrors upon your beloved country. Life as you knew it would end forever. Therefore, he must be stopped at all costs.

So you send in your team up against him, and instead of taking him on, you watch as they fight with one hand behind their backs. They believe they can reason with the sonofabitch so they strive for civil discourse. They appease. Instead of saying " we shall defend our principles, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight in the house, we shall fight in the senate, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, we will never allow our beautiful country to be turned into a fascist state," they say, we must pick our battles. They are scared to death to speak the truth about the man. In the meantime, you watch as Hitler keeps gaining ground.

Now, wouldn't that piss you off to high heaven?

You may disagree with me, but I see our situation as dire as that.

What's even worse is that now the democrats aren't up against a Hitler - they are up against a cowardly imbecile who cannot even speak coherently about his own policies.

It is just amazing that these democrats are so deferential to a president who begs only scorn and ridicule.  I feel like I'm watching a surreal comedy whenever the media and politicians treat Bush like he's intelligent and caring.

Why don't democrats just come out and say it:  "The idea that the Iraq war is part of the response to those who attacked us on 911 is completely baseless, and what concerns us the most is that our president doesn't have the mental capacity to mount a sufficient response to 911."  Make Bush's stupidity a national security issue.  Explain to people just why we need an intelligent person in office.

<sigh>  The closer we get to '08, the worse things seem to look.  I hope we aren't stuck with another loser like Kerry who supports neocon policies and refuses to fight back against Jeb.
