. . . that Kool-Aid was part of the lunch buffet?

I would normally think this was the background for a Saturday Night Live sketch.

Maybe it's me, but I can't think anything more "demoralizing" to troops than sending them to war on a pack of lies and then failing to provide them with body armor and a strategy for victory -- all while the Commander-in-Chief says "bring 'em on" and encourages insurgents to come and kill them.

In addition, I "support the troops" by demanding they have a competent CIC who tells the truth, and by demanding we get them home alive as soon as possible. I guess that's not quite as patriotic as waving a flag and throwing a magnetic ribbon on my car, but I prefer to cut down on military funerals instead.

The person I see disinterested in fighting a "global war on terror" is our own President, who has our troops bogged down in a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11, had no means to hit us, did not want war with us, and did not threaten us. Wake me up when he's ready to "think about" bin Laden again.

Could those who support this President hold him accountable for just one thing in his lifetime? My five year-old nephew accepts more responsibility than these people do.
