  •  It does not work like this in emergencies. (4.00)
Northern Command has a "red phone" connected directly to the White House.

They are authorized to shoot down civilian planes on their own since 9/11.

There has to be some pissed off generals in Colorado Springs.

I am surpised nobody just said, fuck orders and went ahead anyway without authorization because Americans were dying.  This disappoints me.

    •  I think the generals (4.00)
didn't want to say "fuck orders" ... I bet they knew what was going down and because of the hostile way the civilian leadership of the Pentagon has been treating uniformed officers, they just let them get their ass in a sling.

I do not ever want to see the military making decisions in this nation, without elected civilian leadership from the White House.

      BUT................

Just what the hell do we do when the White House is full of syncophants and character assassins? And idiots like Bush?  Do we want the military to act without orders?  Yet people are dying soley because of stupidity and incompetence...

God, this whole mess is so awful and so ugly.  I try and try and simply cannot comprehend the utter and complete incompetency being shown, especially by FEMA and "Homeland" Security.

I think I'm going to get a batch of "I live in AMERICA, not the Homeland" bumperstickers.
