    It's not good when people can't work because the gas to get there costs too much, can't buy food, can't buy stuff.

    And credit card companies want you to pay your bill, and charge more. They don't want you to just walk away.

    Banks don't want you to default on your mortgage. They don't want to have to sell your house, especially if they're not going to get much for it because nobody has any money to buy houses.

    They don't want a depression. What they don't realize is if you wipe out the middle class, that's EXACTLY what you'll get. And it will hurt EVERYBODY.

    There were very few people who weren't affected by the Great Depression. There were plenty of people who lost everything. Including banks and bankers, stockbrokers, business owners.

    If they don't realize that, then they deserve everything they get. Unfortunately, the rest of us will get dragged along for the ride, and we DON'T deserve it.
