    If you were running CNN, which needs viewers, and it was the thick of an unfolding national disaster, would you

    A. Put on as any pics/footage from the ground as you could, mixed with fundraising efforts and 'how you can help' stuff

    or

    B. Put on Joe Lieberman (or whoever) to spout about Federal incompetance.

    If you want viewers while tensions are still running high, you'd go with A. Otherwise the viewer is going to surf right past Joe's ugly mug to FOX or MSNBC.
