    I think of refugees as people who are driven from their country and granted permanent refuge by another country.  I realize this is not the classical definition.  I've noticed some media types using the term "evacuee" and one even "citizen-evacuee."  I think this is a more accurate and less class-oriented term.  There is nothing different between a poor person or family who spent a week in the squalor of the Superdome and then was later moved to the Astrodome from a wealthy or middle class family who drove away in their Lexus and booked a hotel in Tennessee, other than their finances.  Both families are evacuees.  Aaron Brown would call only the former "refugees."  Piss on that.
