      But I'm trying to awaken the anger in the progressive and moderate Republicans, and also the pro-choice Dems and independents that may not have thought much about GOP rhetoric versus reality.  If they do not agree with the Bush Administration on many of the issues that I mentioned, then we ought to welcome them over to our side.

      There's little we can do about the Pro-Life Dems.  I'm certainly not going to treat them in the way that the GOP treats RINOs, liberal and moderate Republicans, and centrists.

      The GOP tries to crush anything that remotely approaches dissension within its ranks.  Although that may result in a unified message, it also results in some switches in party (see Jim Jeffords, for example) and more pent-up anger (e.g. see dKos diary on recent townhall meeting of Republican congressman Lamar Smith in Austin, TX).
