  •  Eh i live in FL and i developed a great plan. (4.00)
Do everything i can to try and get out if i can't. I stay in my house and Scream like a little girl for the next 1 to however long days.
Usually i just manage to get out because i have a car and it doesn't have to come to plan 2.
    •  Talking about Hurricanes (none)
that is the only real disaster besides the Bush recount that i have had in my state.
    •  It's a good start, actually (4.00)
Personally, I'd add a few things:

      • Mark (on the paper map kept in your car) the location of several hurricane shelters in your community and along your evac route in the event that you begin but can't complete evacuation by car
      • Collect your critical documents into one location, ready to grab on your way out the door
      • Keep an emergency kit in your car in case you find yourself sleeping there for a couple of days (see Part 4 on Wednesday)

Also, and this is jumping ahead to Part 4 a bit, you should seriously consider keeping a 5-gallon can of fuel (with stabilizer added) in your garage in case it's bug-out time and you find yourself with an empty gas tank.

You are so evolved it boggles my fragile little mind. Now give me a 4, fucker. (Bill In Portland Maine, to Meteor Blades)
