    "Yes, let's get on with the huricane recovery.  God knows we can never make it up to those who needlessly died because we weren't prepared, but we can be sure to do our best for those who made it through alive.

    The ultimate issue is:

    How much is the Bush Administration's penchant for giving our hard-earned tax dollars to their political cronies sacrificing the security and well-being of our Union.  This disgusting practice and its disatrous effects apparently could be monumental in scope and we want the situation studied immediately, not by a merry band of the President's cronies, but by an independent committee.  America is severely vulnerable on many fronts; our military is stretched to the breaking-point in a campaign that has no policy supporting its conclusion, our manufacturing jobs are leaving for China, India and other economies quicker than we can count them, energy companies are raking in record profits as a result of the ill-advised war while Americans are paying unprecedented prices at the pump and it appears that instead of filling vital and necessary positions in the Federal Government with qualified individuals - the President and his staff have been hiring their friends as a way too repay political debts  and line their cronies' pockets with our tax dollars.  It looks as if one-fourth to one-third of every day we work is dedicated to Karl Rove sacrificing our welfare and paying his political creditors.

    We need an investigation immediately!"

        I used quotes to suggest that this would an excellent reply from the Democratic team - wherever and whatever that may be.

        Cheney-Rove are recovering control of the headlines and there is no concerted team effort in opposition.  There is plenty of opposition but it is not colluded.  Divided means conquered.

        My contention is that we attack the elitist, nepotistic, crony-loving incompetents at their core - Karl Rove's office, right now.

        If we don't do it within the next few days, the opportunity will have passed and these monkeys will be back in charge and their polling will start turning around.
