    I'm told that an Anchorage banker by the name Rasmussen (Ed, I think started buying up land on Pt. McKenzie a couple years ago.  Seems he must have known something (or someone)... After the bridge is built, Pt. McKenzie will surely develop into a suburban bedroom community for Anchorage.  Convenient.

    BTW, the land over on Pt. McKenzie isn't all that bad.  Sure, there's some swampy muskeg, but there's plenty of high ground and pleasant lakes, too.  Much like the rest of the flat land in the Mat-Su valley, Anchorage, and the Kenai Peninsula.
