    M855 ball, NATO designation SS109, 5.56x45mm, 62grain projectile with steel penetrator is a pretty hot load, and dangerous to fire in anything not specifically rated for it.  Overpenetration is a problem at ranges of 50meters and less.  It's also expensive and hard to find.
    I shoot surplus M193 ball, 5.56x45mm 55grain FMJ.  Lighter load, and it fractures on impact.

    Wounded Warrior Project Give till it hurts. They already did.
