We should talk.  Was thinking about a diary on the Clampdown.

THink it was, and remains, a very real possibility as they see the political storm continuing to brew 3 weeks after the hurricane.

But my concern is for those of us who can't leave and will be stuck here.  I figure they will take over TV and radio, phone service and internet.  So how do we get information?  Might be a good idea to set up metro communication trees,  try to find a neighbor who would then be connected to another neighbor further down the branch of a network.

I sound paranoid even to myself in writing this.  But then, I never thought they would steal an election or ignore the drowning. I don't trust any of these people/

Which minority group would Jesus hate?

That can take over the Internet? Unless this is China.
      •  The Soviet Government (none)
As late as the mid '80s, only built as much long distance phone capacity as they had KGB agents to monitor.

Now that task will be handled by Artificial Intelligence routines.

No-one who voted against the USAPATRIOT Act has lost an election. I am not currently Licensed to Practice in this State. Or Yours.

Shortwave, Citizens Band, and real paper Samizdat.

I've still got a handcrank mimeograph in the basement. Long overdue for for a cleaning and lube, and I should find new ink.
