    I think so.  They've got lots of flood protection on the SA river.  The problem is the water gets diverted to local creeks.  Anyone south of the SA river flood control and along the creeks might have problems.  We deal with flash floods quite a bit, most of the problems are with people driving through low water crossings--TURN AROUND!!

    Anyway, as someone said downthread the 98 flash flood was awful, hopefully it won't be worse than that.
