    He relied on SUBSTANCE and EXPERIENCE, rather than IMAGE and stardom.  That kind of thing matters in, for example, EUROPE.  It's only in America that you also have to be a "kind of guy you'd like to have a beer with."

    Short attention span, lack of perception and depth.  ARRRGHH!!

    Anyway,  Gore has shed his inhibitions since 2000.  He still has all the experience he gained during the successfull and prosperous Clinton years, plus he's harder and stronger now.  He'd make a GREAT president.  

    Go ahead and live in the past.  I'm for the future, and I like leaders that grow from ups and downs.  Gore's recent appearances leave me with no doubt that he is up to the job.

    And this is coming from a Clark supporter.  The two of them would give us the best hope to restore some kind of semblance of Democracy in our Country.  And both are highly respected abroad which means they could re-initiate diplomacy with a NUMBER of countries right from the bat.
