  •  Nope, Gore's victory (none)
would have been a huge electoral route without the stolen elections in florida and TN. Gore won, he ran a good campaign. The one mistake he made was not asking for the overvotes to be counted, but then hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

      Stolen election in TN?

What are you talking about? Gore lost by 78,000+ votes there. How was that stolen?

Florida was easy for them because Jebbie was Gov and his wench counted the votes and determined who could vote.

I think you're out on an island claiming that Gore ran a good campaign. He was playing prevent defense the whole time. Afraid to embrace Clinton and afraid to play rough.

Not addressing the overvotes was a problem but Gore lost the media and momentum battle when he only asked for a recount in just a few counties. He looked like he was cherrypicking the state. And that's what he was doing because he would've won with a statewide recount.

That's some of the naivete I was talking about. He didn't realize how bad he looked asking for a select recount. Plus he didn't challenge (not in the legal sense) the Supreme Court ruling because the December 12 deadline to resolve disputes can be ignored as their is no penalty for doing so. Electoral votes could be changed up until January 6. It's happened before. But he opted for the wussy unite-the-country-and-avoid-a-Constitutional-crisis malarky. Does anyone honestly think that if it was Bush down by a few hundred votes the GOP would simply concede?! They would drag it out as far as possible, they would fight. Something which play-it-safe Gore didn't and probably couldn't do.

Bottom line, if Gore gets the nomination, I'd vote for him in a second, just like I did with Kerry, another wimp. I'm just not going to "draft" him because I don't think he has the rocks.
