  •  BushCo fuckup--a good analogy from Sun Tzu (4.00)
What's the first law in Chapter 3 of "The Art of War"? You remember, the chapter that deals with strategy?
Sun Tzu said: In the practical art of war, the best thing of all is to take the enemy's country whole and intact; to shatter and destroy it is not so good. So, too, it is better to recapture an army entire than to destroy it, to capture a regiment, a detachment or a company entire than to destroy them.

And what did BushCo do? Exactly.

The more I see of Bushco's actions, as opposed to their words, I don't think they really want to "win" this war. Better for them to have it continue into the foreseeable future at a cost of a billion a week or so. After all, it's not their kin getting killed, but it is their pockets getting lined.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter." Dr. ML King, from a jail cell in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963.
