  •  Here's a simple solution. (3.00)
Forget all this writing to congresspeople and decrying the unfairness of hackable voting machines...let's just simply out hack them. Our guys have GOT to be smarter than the rethugs. I think it'd work best if we won by ridiculous margins. It would certainly prove a point, and since this whole democratic experiment is about to collapse, it would be a bit of comic relief before the shooting started.

In the beginning there was nothing...which exploded.

I like the part about proving a point. Excellent idea. Let's just hack it and win everything everywhere by a landslide. I wonder if there would be truth told and an actual investigation into our sham elections then?

Not sure what your point is. No matter who owns them and created them, I believe they are hackable and we can hack them. I can't hack it, but I know other smart liberals can.

are the ones who have access to the computers in the voting precincts. They have the advantage.

If EVERYONE demands paper ballots at the next election, wouldn't we bypass the Diebold/GOP and get at least one election where the votes are properly counted? I think that if you can get your bank balance from any atm in the WORLD with accuracy (and a receipt) you should be able to do the same with your vote! Why not a receipt with carbon copy? The machine counts votes, if there is disagreement/problem with count in a county/area- they count the paper receipts. Still a problem? everyone takes/mails their carbon copy to central location to be recounted.
      Just an idea :)
