how is the discipline in catholic schools? i have heard that it is typically good. that has a large part to to with the success of catholic schools.
    •  I teach in a Catholic school (none)
I would say that discipline is as good as the parents and administration allow it to be.  We are facing a decline in enrollment right now due to economic factors in our area among other things.  Our principal appeases the parents, most of whom believe that their child can do no wrong, at all costs so that no one will get upset and leave the school.  I would say that discipline is better in affluent suburban schools than it is in my Cathlolic school as there are very little official consequences for actions.
