    Who suggested that you knew how the various Courts of Appeal would vote (the 4th, 5th, and 11th Circuits being anti-Roe).  

    The question of what is and what is not in the judicial mainstream seems to me to be a wrongheaded way of thinking about things.  Both legislators and judges need to think about the consequences of adopting laws and upholding them by judicial opinions that make large numbers of people into lawbreakers as a result of consensual sex.  

    •  You are right, they do need to think (none)
      about these things.  But that does not mean taht if the legislators are stupid or act stupid or pass stupid laws, the Constitution saves teh public from that stupidity.  We have elections to do that.  Vote the idiots out.
