    let's not confuse the roll of a pharmacy assistant with that of the pharmacist. The latter spent five years getting a bachelors degree in pharmacy.

    At busy places an assistant might be the one to take the big bottle of pills off the shelf and count them out, but the pharmacist is the one responsible for making sure the prescription is filled correctly.

    It's the pharmacist who is refusing to fill the prescription for contraceptives.

      But it does put it into a little more perspective, I think.  

      I just can't believe that certain people are now being allowed to do their jobs (or not do them, as the case is here) based on their own personal moral perspective.  It's utterly ridiculous.
