    Aside from (maybe) "People before Profits", I don't see real alternatives.

    It's a slogan, for sh*t's sake. It's meant to be innocuous, but provide a touchstone to whatever the eventual platform will be. If anybody caught Dean on Sunday, he gave a pretty clear indication of what that would be. And it sure sounded like a return to the historic Democratic Party that pushed through the New Deal, Social Security, and the War on Poverty.

    Going on about it in isolation seems a bit silly (although I engage in it, too). It's going to be part of a package.
