  •  Time to stockpile a home stash . .. (none)
    of the morning-after pill?

I have a 14-year-old daughter and have thought many times that it would be a wise thing to obtain and keep a stash of the morning-after contraception in my medicine cabinet just in case.

Has anyone else done this?  What is its shelf-life?  Also, would I try to get this from my own doc or is it available on-line without a prescription?  I thought I'd read that some states, including Washington, dispensed this without a prescription.

    Anyone knowledgeable on this topic?

    •  I wonder about freezer storage (none)
...whether the shelf-life can be extended that way, or would it destroy the hormones?

This guy, Dr. Trussell, is an expert on EC, used to be on the FDA Advisory Committee (you know, when the committee overwhelmingly approved OTC use of EC but politics got in the way).

lots of info about where to get it!1

Also, all Planned Parenthoods caryr it and can advise you on shelf life - definitely a great idea to have some in your medicine cabinet.
