The title speaks for itself, and the excerpt about communicating ideals goes below the fold.  That pretty much sums up this site, Armando.

That is a rather stupid point.

If I was inclined to petty tit for tat, I would note that the attention span of our respective readerships is a bit different. Our folks read below the fold. Your folks can barely read.

If I was inclined to that sort of thing that is what I might say.

How little it takes for the bigotry to pop to the surface, Armando.  Let the record show that I criticized your emphasis--in effect your content--and you went personal.  If you think that is "tit-for-tat", then I think you're misguided about what the phrase really means.  If you think that's the sort of fighting Clinton advised you to be engaged in, read again the link, because you're way off base.

Placement equals emphasis, and generally your placement and emphasis are focused on fighting, rather than being the Better Ideas Party.  The "anti" forces prevailed in 2002 and 2004, and you lost.  Yet here you are once again going to that same old well, employing that same old failed tactic.  Kerry kept talking about a "better plan", for example, but it was not a priority in his campaign and he seldom articulated what that better plan was.

Think of it this way.  Bush received a raft of negative publicity the last three or four months and his approval ratings plummeted.  But have Democrats' approval ratings risen?  Not even.  Why?  Because you haven't presented palatable alternatives.  Even if you're successful at blocking an initiative, the next question is "then what"?  So far, that question continues to go unanswered, and that's why you're making no headway.  It's like saying Coke tastes like goat piss, but not telling folks how good Pepsi is.

In fact, you're hurting your situation.  Here you have the most successful Democratic politician in a quarter century handing you a template for success, and you're taking only a half helping.  Hillary is following that very approach, yet she's the enemy to hardliners like Kos and perhaps yourself.

The next response is predictable, to paraphrase:  Because we're not in power, we can't effect change, so the best course we have is stop the Republicans.  Putting forth better ideas will only expose us to attack in an off year.  But that's exactly the problem Bill Clinton was talking about.  There's never a bad time to put forward your principles, if you truly believe in them and can defend them.  The more ideas the better.  That way, instead of just giving people a reason to vote against Republicans, you're also giving them a reason to vote for Democrats.  It worked in 1994, yet you refuse to learn from that relevant experience.

          Charles, that is SOOOO you.

The mote in your eye can be explained away. My riposte, which is offered in humor, brings out the sanctimony in you.

Get a sense of humor Charles and a mirror.
