  •  A quick look found (none)
13 diaries tagged 'penetration,' probably all the work of the same clever soul who is tagging HRC diaries with 'skank' and other witticisms.

The answer is to delete these tags whenever you see them. I have been doing that on an occasional basis, as well as adding needed tags and 'regularizing' spelling and capitalization.

I assume others do as well, but from the looks of things more vigilance is needed if the great utility of tags is not to be compromised by sabotage, or worse, neglect.

Pick a chunk of the cloud - 'aardvark to Berlinguer' - and work on it. I know no better answer.

    •  There's a few ways to clean up (none)
If there's a tag that goes up everywhere that isn't appropriate, such as todays "penetration" tag, click on it and then edit every diary's tag list that has it.  (You can only edit them out if you're TU.)

Or, if you're really feeling anal, go to the all tags list and sort by usage to get rid of the really oddball tags (the ones with 1 or 2 references).

For added fun, find all the ways the same individual is named and turn them all into the most popular (e.g. turn all the Bush tags into George W. Bush).

Chaos, fear, dread. My work here is done.

      •  Right (none)
I've been doing all those occasionally as I say, not as a full-time job. If 30 or 40 people just keep it in mind and do it for a few mintues, it will help.

Waht is the ratio of TU/nonTU users? This is one of the few areas where TU carries real responsibility. I know, 0's and all, but that doesn't interest me that much.

      •  Pun intended right? (none)

Can I get a mint? I have Scalitosis
