  •  How do you deal with abusive parents? (4.00)
Or, in the more extreme case, what if the father is the father?

The fact is that parents often don't have their children's best interests in mind when dealing with them.

Pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space because there's bugger all down here on Earth.

    •  Another exceptional case.... (none)
How do you deal with asteroid attacks?
      •  I'm not sure (none)
but I think that having a 48 waiting period and notification rules before we can take action is not the way to go.  Because if you want to destroy people's lives, this may have roughly the same impact.

While we're at it, should we propose changing the constitution to redefine astroids as "carriers of exobiological material, as a carrier of new hominid sentient race created but not yet evolved"?  That way, we can pass legislation later that would define destroying astroids as genocide.

A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.

      •  That's a great point (none)
A substantial majority of under-16 pregnant teenagers got that way through incest and/or sexual abuse.  Now, how many asteroid attacks have you seen lately?

When you're talking about younger teens, incest is not some freaky once-in-a-blue-moon case.  It is the NORMAL case.
