I find the anti-smoking crusade to be a sham. Where do you suppose the safest place to smoke is? Hmmm let me think for a second....could it possibly be that the safest place to be as a non-smoker is to actually be outdoors? Banning smoking outdoors is SUCH a ridiculous idea that I don't even know where to begin. Smokers today are considered evil, and crucified for chosing to engage in a legal activity. Funny how liberals are soooo supportive of marijuana legalization (which I do aswell) but if it was up to some people they would ban tobacco--hmm I wonder where all those billions in excessive taxation would go?

if I could smoke a joint on the street, I'd drop the tobacco in a NY minute.

I've since stopped smokin the MJ. It tended to make me sit around and play video games all the time and never leave the house. hehe

But hell, it really IS less harmful than cigs.

And yes, we're slowly being stygmatized, right and left. We know it's not the best thing for us, but hell... those 6 long island ice tea's and the car keys in your pocket are like a loaded fucking GUN!

Oh, and yes, we're being taxed to our eyeballs for our habit, and now they want to kick us out to the gutter too.

My habit funds your public works, Mr. Non-smoker. And ya know what, I don't even mind paying em. I know the taxes go to good causes, and if they can even go to keeping kids from starting in the first place, so much the better.

All us smokers want, is a few places to go, where we can enjoy our habit in peace, in WARMTH for gods sake, and be able to socialize in public. Is that really too much to ask?

What a piece of work is man, in form and moving... ...quintessence of dust. and all that
