  •  The fix is in (none)
What's to stop them from keeping a database of people to poll that have shown in the past that they are more likely to support the president than not?  I know it would make the poll biased.. but come on, a biased poll is the least of their concerns after fixing an election or two.  It would be smart of them, and it's just the sort of thing they'd do.

Given that perspective, I find it very comforting that 30% of their core sticks in the mud are against chimpy.

It's called a phone book. For various reasons, pollsters can't call cellular phones, only landlines. I don't have a landline, nor do most of the people I know. And, I'm willing to bet that people who only have cellular phones are generally in the anti-Bush demographic.

And I wish there were some reliable way to test that hypothesis.  Unscientifically, however, thinking about the people I know...  Just about everyone I know has a cell phone, but only three have given up their land lines in lieu of their cell.  And all three of them hate Bush.

You might be onto something there.
