  •  My criticism (none)
of your foolish comments was made manifrst by your vitriolic reaction to being called a fool.

See, I don't care if I am called a fool. I DO care if someone questions my patriotism.

You propose some type of position paper on the Dems' patriotism. As if it should be open to debate.

That is idiotic. You lost the moment you engage in such a discussion.

My anger is real. And your critique was just plain stupid.

    •  we never engage (3.50)
in a meaningful way because you are only about protecting your turf and "winning." every sentence you write is all about who you think won this spat. how boring.

to clarify, my critique of your post was not that you should be more polite, but that your slams would be more cutting if they were less gradeschool. I have no idea what you are going on about patriotism. Of course, now I'm engaging in fantasy debate, imagining you will process my response and reply in kind. whatever, lace it with "fool" this and why I lost that. if it feeds the beast.

      •  That comment (none)
was simply nonsensical. It is impossible to respond to because it made no sense.

You need to take a moment and try to formulate your argument. Surely it is something other than that comment.

This stands out - "I have no idea what you are going on about patriotism."

            That says it all.

to you was never about the traitor line. I dismissed that as noise. but as you keep on bringing it up over and over, makes your sarcasm claim even more suspect.

You mean nothing to me - my post was on Hiatt, not you.

You wrote "I dismissed that as noise." That is exactly the problem. You dismissed Hiatt's questioning of Dems' patriotism as nothing.

You got hot and bothered when I called you a fool.

That is your problem in a nutshell.

but just so that we're fighting about the right thing - I'm calling it noise when you called me a traitor, not Hiatt calling the dems such.

                  over and out.

That was sarcasm and you actually went for the fool bait, just as I would have predicted.

Armando, your eloquence in exposing the asshole administration and its followers is greatly appreciated.  You're an asset to DKos, but I would wish you'd not get into a shouting match like this.
Its not worth it, and that person is not worth it.

Look, the diary you posted was very interesting and I was scrolling down to read some thoughtful replies to it so please, lets all stick to the issue at hand.

There seems to be no point to pursuing a rational line of argument with Armando. The pattern always falls into the pattern of the Python Argument Clinic sketch.

Politics is the art of the possible.
