    with all this talk of vietnam-- I thought that it was generally accepted that Vietnam was the wrong war...

      hard to believe, but a substantial %age of americans today think vietnam was a war worth winning.  (as though it could have been won...)

      millions died, but they were the "Enemy" bent on our destruction... this is how people really think.

      to them, liberals lost Vietnam because we were too yellow-bellied to support our troops enough to win it.

      This is just more baby-boomer bullshit playing out--conservative boomers who loved the Vietnam War testing their "stab in the back" theory against the peacenik boomers who hated them.
