  •  Pain in the gut (4.00)
Watching George's puppet show and hearing his cheering audience makes me feel as if I have come upon a gang rape and the victum is my country. I feel like I need to DO SOMETHING about it.

I put on the last part of my Marine uniform that still fit (my cover) and marched in the peace marches before this all started. I have discussed, dialoged and argued with long time friends and members of my family about this stupid illegal immoral unjustified war until some will no longer speak to me. I returned to the Democratic Party and worked on campaigns of candidates that shared my feelings. I gave money to local and national candidates that I hoped could make a change. I've door belled and called to get out the vote. I volunteer as a poll worker at elections. I joined MoveOn. I visit dkos and other sites regularly.

I still feel like I'm helplessly watching my much-loved country being raped by villains and all I've done is wave my hands and look concerned! It all gives me a pain in the gut.

    •  Your puppet-show image is a good one. (none)
I've taken to referring to the fellow as the Crawford Diddler.  Diddling may not seem like a serious enough word to apply but the fellow really isn't deserving of a weighty moniker.  And Crawford does seem to be where the deception was hatched.  At least this time around.
